This antique 19th century chimneypiece has been crafted from Statuary marble.
The shapely fire surround is in the distinctive French Louis XV style, impressive in stature the fireplace has a panelled frieze with a large carved shell.
The soft, creamy white tone of the marble provides a neutral backdrop for the intricate carvings and ornate details that adorn its surface, adding a touch of luxury to any room in which it is placed.
